Naturemind presents Oropendola, the debut LP by Alyssa Miserendino and Joshua W Bruner, two sound artists weaving field recordings and brainwave sonifications into living sonic tapestries. Oropendola invites the listener into a state of relaxation through recordings of nature and electroencephalography (EEG) data, melodically sonified with sine waves and pedal steel virtual instruments.
Released on World Sound Healing Day, 2023 with a limited edition run of 200.
