This is not your typical sound meditation ….. there are no bowls, forks, gongs or chimes. YOU are the instrument, you are the sound maker, and with your own sacred breath you will heal the world.
If you’re new to group toning, it’s a simple yet powerful technique accessible to everyone. No experience needed. You will create tones, or sustained vowel sounds, that resonate with you. Within the group, each person adds their own tone to the mix, building a tapestry of sound. The practice of breathing and creating communal sound is an intuitive, joyful, and playful practice that produces a variety of energetic cleansing and healing effects. Come together to find, strengthen, and share your unique tone while intentionally creating positive vibrations for yourself and for our community.
Lily French, an Alchemical Sound Healer practicing since 2003, will facilitate the event and guide you in the practice of vocal toning. The full hour contains periods of sounding and silence for meditation after the toning. While most people rest in the silence, feel free to bring a journal if you prefer to write during this portion.
